Plus a few days old in Koala Land. I have started work on 3 Jan and life has never been the same again. There's a lot of adjustment to be had once I am back in the rat race. Now instead of finding all manner of things to fill up the vast free time that I had, suddenly I have to prioritize things that I wanted to do during the day. Averagely I only have about 2 hours of play time each weekday. Weekends I have more and my uncle have laid down some new house rules that involve cooking and cleaning.
I also didn't manage to complete my last day in the Salvo as planned due to flu contracted from Sydney trip. It seem I didn't end things properly with them in some way, never get to say my farewells, nor take pictures. Maybe, there is still some fate to be had with this place so I am not designated to say farewell. Who knows?
I started drawing comics and putting my amateurish drawings up. Don't ask why I never do any of it during my long vacation. It's one of those impulsive things. The time never seem right. Don't have the right tools. No confidence. Stupid things now you think about it. I just need to find the right balance between this blog and the other one. Moo suggested I have another blog just for my comics. Maybe...who knows I shall be the next Miao.

Summer have finally arrived with a vengeance too. It can get so hot it feels like walking with the hair dryer in front of you. Our fruits are riping way too fast behind our backyard too. Before I knew it, my uncle's harvested the plums from our numerous plum trees. We have 3 types of plums, all non commercial* and very sweet. I regret I didn't get a good picture of them before they are harvested.
This year I will be celebrating Chinese New Year overseas in a non-chinese environment. I wonder how it will go.

Waaah, plums in abundance! Very sweet some more! Lucky you! I went to the market y'day morning. A stall is selling 7 plums (not fully red like yours but yellow & red) for RM10. I didn't buy. Scared not sweet altho seller said, "Hoe tim ar." ;-)

yah, we have 3 plum trees behind our yard. Our plums are not commercially grown, so you cant buy them from the store but they are very very very sweet :)
